I live in UK, and have access to a Picturehouse, Vue, and Cineworld. None of them are showing Solomon Kane. All the nearest cinemas that are showing it are far too expensive and time-consuming to go to and see.
That's all. Just venting some anger....

Interested 'Fan' - Most Philosophical Character?
30 October 2009 - 11:17 PM
I have to admit, I haven't read the whole way through and of REH's works. I have, however, read excerpts here and thee, and fell in love straight away. Money being tight at the moment, I haven't yet been able to get a book (I am aware that the De; Ray editions are the best). What I'm interested in, is which character is the most philosophical or deep-thinking?
From what I've heard, Conan dislikes philosophy, and is more of a doer than a thinker? Does the same apply for Howard's other fantasy characters?
I ask this as I feel I will love all of the characters, but am most interested in starting off with a deep-thinking character (akin to me perhaps, being a philosophy student). Brak Mak Morn springs to mind, but am unsure.
