Fell in love with Conan back in the early seventies - when in was in High School. I had already been introduced to SF through RAH (Heinlein), and to fantasy through Tolkein, so it was an easy jump for me.
My notable Conan memory was having my letter to Marvel about Conan published in the first edition of Red Sonja.
