I was wondering if you guys read certain number of Howard books in a year.
I have challenged myself to 7 Howard books this year just so i dont forget and waste time on other less interesting books, authors. I havent read all the collections out there so i focused this year on his other literary characters and not just the famous character series. I have read two books so far in Conan volume 1, Solomon Kane complete Del Rey collection.
I just ordered Almuric,Waterfront Fist and others:Collected Fight Stories, A Gent from Bear Creek and Kull:Exile of Atlantis.
So im asking how do you read REH? With a focused plan, reading a number of stories, books in a year like me or some other way?

Top Ten Reads This Year (2011)
01 December 2011 - 12:40 PM
I see we read many books in what are you reading thread here.
So the idea is simple and interesting to see which ten books you thought are the best, fun reads this year for you ?
Also Top 10 short stories, novella list on its own.
I have read 79 novels/collections this year so it wasnt easy choosing top 10.

Rank Top 5 (non-humorous) Western Stories
28 August 2011 - 10:29 AM
I was reading End of Trail thread and i was wondering which serious western stories people rated highest. Of course many will say "The Vultures of Wahpeton" but i want to see other stories people think are their big favs too. Which are the least favourites ?
I want to see a top 5 list by people to make it harder to choose and not an easy top 10 list. It can be weird western stories but not the horror stories in western setting like Horror from the Mound. No Wild Water, other "contemporary westerns". I want to motivations too and not just rankings.
