Jim Butcher, yes....Terry Goodkind....(shivers uncontrollablly, moves over to the garbage can and lets the sudden build-up of saliva drip until the memory of the name is gone...)...is not my favorite author. In fact, I think he writes horribly. I barely finished Wizard's First Rule. I have read so many books, so my opinion, well, let's say it's well-founded. I can't stand his stuff. I recommend Steven Erickson, Bernard Cornwell, Dan Abnett, and many others who far eclipse Goodkind. OR as I sometimes (and not alone) jokingly call him, Robert Goodkind. Or Terry Jordan. lol.
