Kind of a personal take on Akivasha here. Conan´s running about in the Stygian tombs were pretty horrific. I still wonder what those flapping feet in the dark really were. The Khitan assassins have kind of a "Phyllidae, walking leaf" insect for weapons.

I was under the impression that Conan 2011 had very little CGI, to a great deal of expense I guess.

Chevy Chase don´t need rubber suit, he has that physique naturally.

Ah, good points Ironhand. Do you imagine that Conan would make innovations or change things as he becomes king, considering his expirience and travels?

On the contrary, if an epic decent Conanmovie is made once more, interest will, I imagine grow for sword and sorcery style fantasy. Lord of the Rings was basically an industry for a couple of years and I doubt very much that Tolkien lost readers. Great ka-ching! for the investors and risktakers too of course.

But obviously the CGI made half that movie, they would never even have been shot without CGI. What? Gollum a naked guy in a loincloth played by Chevy Chase? I think there is a lesson there to be learned.

King Conan would mean epic huge battles, huge beasts and bombastic sceneries.
