I saw this with the Family in IMAX 3D. Amazing. The FX were great and it was a great afternoon flick. Sure there were plot holes and stuff.... but who cares. It was exciting and adventurous and that's all that mattered to me. I even picked my kid's interest when they found out there there was a whole series of books on John Carter. I think I just turned them onto Edgar Rice Burroughs fans.

At one time, I pitched this (if you could call it that) to a few people who would give me 10 seconds, some emails back and forth, etc... I was pushing an animated series for Solomon Kane and other 'Wierd Tales'.

I got nothing back. Not even a hint of interest.
